White pine has been a choice species for over 300 years in north eastern North America for finishing jobs. Unlike imported core wood, white pine is mature, stable and has excellent machining and gluing properties.

Core and imported wood produced in a quick growing and harvesting cycle all need chemical treatments to become durable and decay-resistant. Because white pine is mature and grows long enough to develop a homogeneous grain, it does not need chemical treatments. It can be safely used indoors or outdoors due to its resistance to both heat and cold.

This light, regular-grained wood will not crack when nailed or screwed. Multiple finish coats are easily applied in-factory to further enhance its natural resistance.
